Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop, design, and deploy secure applications that meet both efficiency and scalability requirements.
• Enhance and maintain existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
• Streamline release and deployment processes through task automation, improving overall workflow efficiency.
• Identify and resolve software issues through effective troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrades.
• Write clean, efficient, secure and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across the development team.
• Stay current with the latest technologies, tools and trends in software development, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Continuously improve software development processes and practices to enhance security, productivity and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a strong focus on Python, PHP, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and principles.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Laravel, Laminas, Django, Flask, or similar).
• Strong familiarity with database systems, including both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, GraphDb).
• Experience in automating deployment processes using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong and concise communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Good understanding of a secure software development lifecycle.
• Experience with DevOps implementation and Linux server configuration.
• Experience in application security testing and automation testing.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Vagrant.
