The National Cybersecurity Competence Centre (NC3), hosted by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, has been designated to act as National Coordination Centre in Luxembourg (NCC-LU) within the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCC Network), established by EU Regulation 2021/887, setting up the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) located in Bucharest.

European Cybersecurity Competence Community

The ECCC, together with the Network formed by NCCs from each Member State, have been created by the European Commission in 2021 to increase Europe’s cybersecurity capacities and competitiveness and to build a strong Cybersecurity Community. The main aim of this initiative is to create coordination throughout the entire chain, from top level to the bottom within the European cybersecurity environment.

NCC-LU

The NCC-LU acts as the single information point for the ECCC, for the European Network of National Coordination Centres and national stakeholders in Luxembourg. The NCC-LU is designed to foster a European and Luxembourgish Cybersecurity Ecosystem, while ensuring coordination within the NCC Network.
The activities focus on fostering open, agile and adaptive cooperation among different stakeholders, to promote synergies and mutual understanding. Key attributes of the NCC-LU include connecting different capabilities and stakeholders to prevent fragmentation, with the aim of building a secure, resilient and trustworthy ecosystem.
