Start of Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg 2023
The CYBERSECURITY Week Luxembourg Spring Edition is starting, including a workshop on Technical Standardisation in Space and Cybersecurity, the official launch of the Luxembourg National Cybersecurity Competence Center (NC3) and the core event ICT Spring.
It’s finally time!
ICT Spring
The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg will start its 2023 edition, kicking it off with its core spring time event: ICT Spring on the 29th and 30th of June.
Join us at one of the top European tech conferences with over 5000 expected attendees, 500 companies from over 70 countries and over 150 excellent speakers. With the goal of emulation and networking between business decision-makers, innovation managers, startups, researchers and venture capitalists on an European scale ICT Spring offers a highly interesting programme, varied workshops, an exhibition area featuring startups, tech giants, international pavilions and more. Networking will be made easy with an AI powered international matchmaking event by b2fair and the unmissable ICT Spring party on Thursday night.
This years key topics include growth of sustainability to catalyse information, Finance & Technology, Cyber & Quantum computing, Big Data & Cloud, Health Technologies, Web3 and AI.
Last but not least, for the very first time, a cybersecurity village (Protector Zone powered by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity) will gather national and international players. A conference stream dedicated to cybersecurity will take place on Stage B on 29 June morning and one dedicated to Quantum Computing on 30 June morning.
A promising demo programme is waiting all visitors on LHC's booth as well as NC3 will host a workshop on "A competence center for a more resilient ecosystem".
Technical Standardisation in Space and Cybersecurity - Workshop by ILNAS
Everyone dreaming of taking humanity to the stars can join the workshop in Technical Standardisation in Space and Cybersecurity organised by ILNAS on 27 June 2023. There the state of technical and normative developments within the European Space Agency (ESA) as well as the standardisation in progress with the technical committee SES (Satellite Earth Stations and Systems) of the ESA will be presented to showcase the current threats and solutions that make it possible to respond effectively to these new challenges. The workshop will be concluded with a round table inviting Luxembourg players to share their visions on the new version of the Aerospace Sector Normative Analysis.
Official launch of NC3's activities
Furthermore on 30 June 2023 the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC) will be delighted to launch their National Cybersecurity Competence Center (NC3) which is going to strengthen the country’s ecosystem facing cyber threats and risks. Being the outcome of the merge of two previous departments of the agency, the NC3 relies on a solid experience in prevention, protection, training, and testing in cybersecurity matters. It combines the excellence of experts from five different domains in order to cover all the dimensions of its mission.
